Being a Third Culture Kid is not a new phenomenon but a community that not many people are aware of. Third culture kid (TCK) is a term used to refer to children who were raised in a culture outside of their parents’ culture for a significant part of their development years. I want to talk about my own journey and experience as a TCK as well as the general funny things that this community has in common, likely to be represented in GIF’s. I also wanted to raise some of the challenges we may perceive as a community but highlighting that these challenges are actually silver linings that defines who we are and how we should embrace it.
