The American Education System is a system that should hold opportunities as dynamic and advanced as its students. This is, however, a system that is too often flawed within high-poverty area schools and communities; a system that can continue to further economic inequalities amongst Americans. Much in contrast, though, this system also has the potential to further all students and eliminate all gaps. But, that potential comes through a collaborative effort. Not through an effort by one student, or a single community member, or one teacher, but a centralized effort towards change with a centralized interest in broadening the range of opportunities available to students starting at a young age.
