Organize a community Ignite event or start an Ignite chapter

Ignite chapters can represent a city, town, or even a neighborhood or school. They are the backbone of the Ignite community. Chapters host regular events and are generally open to the public (or in the case of schools, sometimes are only open to the school community).

Ignite talks can also be held as one-off events for a special occasion or so that the organizers can try on the organizer hat before committing to regular events.

Either way, we are excited that you are considering joining us and are here to support you along the journey with lots of tips, tricks, and resources.

Ignite events/chapters should be named after a location or entity (i.e. "Ignite San Francisco" or "Ignite University of Calgary"). It can be named after a city or neighborhood, but not a country. Ignite events are meant to be held on a variety of topics and we steer away from themed Ignite names. Your proposed name must be one that isn't already taken.
